Workforce180 really is too good to be true!

When Ari first heard about Workforce180, she wondered if there was a catch. A program that provided tuition support, mentoring, and resources sounded too good to be true.

Ari realized it really was true when Workforce180 provided her with an open door for a dream career in nursing. In every step of her education journey, Ari was given a community of supporters that believed and invested in her success.

“Thank you, Workforce180! Your support changed everything,” Ari said when she graduated in December 2023, grateful for every donor, mentor, and person who helped her get there.

As she also later noted, “Workforce180 is helping out our community so much, and I appreciate it more than anyone will ever understand.”

Ari’s sentiments are spot-on: Workforce180 has created over $2,075,000 in local economic impact/benefit since its launch in 2020. With more than 80 participants enrolled at Heartland Community College and/or in the Workforce180 pipeline, over 30 graduates have already moved into the local workforce.

But that’s not all. The starting yearly average wages/benefits of WF180 graduates who are working full time start at a whopping $62,000 annually, while part-time grads earn 50 percent above minimum wage.

That means donor investments create an impressive 265 percent return on investment through the Workforce180 program. Workforce180 really is too good to be true!
