LIKE A GOOD NEIGHBOR
Established in a small farm town in Central Illinois in 1922, State Farm has grown to become number 36 on the Fortune 500 list of largest companies. Founder Jacob “G.J.” Mecherle, known as a good neighbor, decided early on that he would be dedicated to the Central Illinois Area as his company grew.
Now, nearly a century later, yesterday’s small insurance company is one of the top employers in the Bloomington-Normal area. Working at State Farm, you have access to various benefits that exceed paid time off or yearly bonuses.
UNITED WAY OF MCLEAN COUNTY IS THERE

Whether it is uplifting the workforce by helping students through CNA classes or our work with youth and families, we are committed to supporting this community.
