State Farm Employees Can Have Double The Impact

As a part of your employee benefits package, State Farm will generously match up to $4,500 in non-profit donations per calendar year. State Farm is committed to encouraging its employees to engage with local non-profits.

The process to donate is simple. For State Farm to match your gracious gift, current employees can log on to SFNet and click “Total Rewards.” Once this step is complete, click “Matching Gift Program,” which will take you to a page where you can easily make a donation.

Established in a small farm town in Central Illinois in 1922, State Farm has grown to become number 36 on the Fortune 500 list of largest companies. Founder Jacob “G.J.” Mecherle, known as a good neighbor, decided early on that he would be dedicated to the Central Illinois Area as his company grew.
Now, nearly a century later, yesterday’s small insurance company is one of the top employers in the Bloomington-Normal area. Working at State Farm, you have access to various benefits that exceed paid time off or yearly bonuses.

Since 1935, the United Way of McLean County has been committed to being a resource for our community. We are a local, non-profit organization that uses all donations to benefit the members of McLean County. Our mission is to improve the lives of those around us by bringing local partners such as donors, volunteers, government, non-profits, and businesses together to develop solutions for our county’s most pressing human needs. Whether it is uplifting the workforce by helping students through CNA classes or our work with youth and families, we are committed to supporting this community.

As a State Farm employee, you can join us and help your community as your organization will match your gift up to $4,500.

Your gift can have double the impact, providing meals for children, hope for families and students. If you donate $100, the United Way of McLean County will receive $200. No donation is too small. You have the ability to make a major impact in your community.

You are the good neighbor who has always been there. Log on to SFNet today to make your donation and help the United Way of McLean County continue to be the resource our community needs.
